The system was first introduced in Cologne at IDS95, where it was very well received. It was nearly unprecedented, with the initial presentation made directly to on-site sales, without any prior marketing campaign.

In background: the DXIS® sensor installed on Rotograph 230. On the display: the first version of the acquisition program running on MS-DOS, as Windows was not yet widely used in dentistry. The system was not a prototype, as often seen in tradeshows, it was 100% ready to use in April '95 and was sold immediately in Germany and Austria. At far left: Mr. Catalin Stoichita, the founder and President of Signet S.A.S. was very happy because of the nice welcome the new technology had received.
